The Iconic Five — One Week Old
Our five handsome boys have officially reached their first-week milestone. Elvis, Cash, Marlon, Dean, and Sinatra are growing, becoming more active, and beginning to explore their surroundings. Their little eyes are starting to open, and they're already crawling around their nesting area.
All five boys are nursing well, and Ravenel continues to be a wonderful, attentive mother. Each kitten is developing at his own pace, and we're excited to watch their individual personalities emerge over the coming weeks.

A considered, intentional litter.
The Calhoun × Ravenel pairing brings together the two foundational solid black European Maine Coons of Ironmane Coons. Both parents carry heavy bone, the long profound muzzle, and the calm, family-room disposition that defines our program.
Ravenel and Calhoun welcomed The Iconic Five, five boys, on October 11, 2026. Families on the Priority Waitlist are introduced first, in waitlist order, as each kitten's structure, color, and temperament begin to emerge.
The litter expressed four black boys (Cash, Marlon, Dean, and Sinatra) and one blue boy (Elvis), the dilute form of black that both parents can carry quietly.
Both parents are N/N cleared for HCM, SMA, and PKDef. Every kitten from this pairing will be raised inside our Charleston home with daily handling, early socialization, and a complete go-home record.

How a reservation unfolds
It begins with the Priority Waitlist — a short note on the color, sex, and timing you hope for. There is no cost to join, and the list is worked in order.
When kittens arrive, waitlist families are introduced first, in application order, and invited to place a Reservation Fee. From pairing through birth, you receive notes and photographs from the nursery as things happen.
At about five weeks, families choose in waitlist order from the kittens that match their reservation. Kittens go home at 10 weeks of age, subject to each kitten's health and readiness — vetted, FVRCP current, and delivered by flight nanny or in person.
Be introduced before the litter is announced publicly.
Kittens go home at 10 weeks, health permitting. Priority Waitlist families are introduced first, in application order.
