The Iconic Five — One Week Old
Our five handsome boys have officially reached their first-week milestone. Elvis, Cash, Marlon, Dean, and Sinatra are growing, becoming more active, and beginning to explore their surroundings. Their little eyes are starting to open, and they're already crawling around their nesting area.
All five boys are nursing well, and Ravenel continues to be a wonderful, attentive mother. Each kitten is developing at his own pace, and we're excited to watch their individual personalities emerge over the coming weeks.

Ironmane kittens are not posted first and sorted later. We begin privately, with the families already on our Priority Waitlist, so matches are thoughtful from the very beginning.
Once kittens arrive, we guide families through timing, temperament notes, updated portraits, and go-home preparation. Kittens leave no earlier than ten weeks, current on their age-appropriate FVRCP series, dewormed, microchipped, and well socialized.
Looking for Maine Coon kittens in South Carolina?
Ironmane Coons is a boutique European Maine Coon cattery near Charleston, South Carolina. If you are hoping to reserve from the upcoming Calhoun × Ravenel litter, the Priority Waitlist is the clearest next step.
We place for temperament, household fit, and readiness — not on speed alone. That is why our best-matched families almost always begin with the waitlist before kittens are publicly announced.
Be first for the next litter.
The Iconic Five (Calhoun × Ravenel) were born October 11, 2026, and Calhoun × Hunley is due October 28–31, 2026. Kittens are offered to Priority Waitlist families first, in the order their applications were received. Leave your details and we’ll be in touch personally.
No charge. No spam. Waitlist families are introduced first.
Kittens come home at 10 weeks of age, subject to each kitten's health and readiness — FVRCP current, dewormed, microchipped, and litter-trained. We never ship cargo; you’ll meet your kitten in person, or we’ll arrange door-to-door delivery with a vetted private flight nanny who travels in-cabin with your kitten. New here? Start with what makes a European Maine Coon different.
How a reservation unfolds
It begins with the Priority Waitlist — a short note on the color, sex, and timing you hope for. There is no cost to join, and the list is worked in order.
When kittens arrive, waitlist families are introduced first, in application order, and invited to place a Reservation Fee. From pairing through birth, you receive notes and photographs from the nursery as things happen.
At about five weeks, families choose in waitlist order from the kittens that match their reservation. Kittens go home at 10 weeks of age, subject to each kitten's health and readiness — vetted, FVRCP current, and delivered by flight nanny or in person.
The Standard
Why families choose Ironmane Coons
- European Bloodlines
- Our kings and queens trace to imported Polish, Russian, and Italian European lines — the heavier bone, deeper muzzle, and lynx tipping the breed is known for at its best.
- Health & Genetic Testing
- Every breeding cat is DNA screened for HCM, SMA, PKD, and PK-Deficiency before any pairing is planned.
- TICA & CFA Registered
- Ironmane Coons is a registered cattery — TICA Client ID 2134409 and CFA Cattery #403766 — and every kitten leaves with registration paperwork in hand.
- The Household
- Kittens grow up underfoot with children, household noise, and daily handling, so they arrive confident rather than merely tame.
- Nationwide & International Placement
- We place kittens across the United States, throughout Canada where applicable, and internationally where regulations allow — always in-cabin with a private flight nanny, never as cargo.
- Lifetime Breeder Support
- Our families keep our phone number for life. Nutrition, grooming, behavior, veterinary questions at midnight — we stay reachable long after Welcome Home Day.
