European Maine Coon queen at Ironmane Coons, available to Raleigh families

A Charleston cattery, serving Raleigh.

The Raleigh–Durham Triangle has one of the strongest concentrations of thoughtful pet families in the Southeast — and remarkably few European Maine Coon breeders within driving distance. Most Triangle families end up flying kittens in from the Midwest.

Ironmane Coons is a boutique cattery in the Charleston Lowcountry, about four and a half hours south of Raleigh via I-95 and I-26. That drive puts us in range as a one-day pickup for families across the Triangle who prefer meeting their kitten in person.

We raise every kitten inside our home, handle them daily from birth, and pair them only with families prepared for a European Maine Coon's size, coat, and fifteen-plus-year commitment. Every parent is health-tested and TICA & CFA registered.

Raleigh logistics

Triangle families most often drive to our Charleston Lowcountry home for pickup, or arrange private flight nanny delivery to RDU. Every kitten leaves fully vetted, microchipped, and ready for the transition.
